Earrings stole The Sag Awards Spotlight
The 24th SAG Awards took over where the recent Golden Globes’ message left off-honoring women. The awards featured its first ever female host, Kristen Bell, as well as all female presenters.
As for the jewelry, earrings in every conceivable silhouette stole the spotlight. Not only do they light up a woman’s face and the diversity of looks in earrings allow for a huge dose of personal style to shine through, but for the past two years, we have been seeing earrings more than any other category of jewelry on the red carpet and fashion runways. Additionally, there has a been a burst of creativity in the renowned jewelry houses and independent designer studios when it comes to what we wear on our lobes. To say that earrings have been witnessing resurgence is an understatement. They are the jewel of the moment—from timeless antique pendant and chandelier styles to the more individualistic looks of singles, mismatched multiples, ear climbers, cuffs and different metals and sparks of colored gemstones.
