The Statement Making Jewels That Dazzled At The 2018 Emmys
If you were waiting for the red carpet jewelry cliffhanger to be resolved, the 70th Annual Prime Time Emmy Awards provided the answer. Earrings were picked up for another season as the jewel to watch. But at Bejeweled, we also noticed that there were also quite a number of awe-inspiring necklaces, bracelets and rings on the star-studded celebrities.
Our favorite jewels evoked a sense of true Hollywood glamor— statement pieces that enhanced these A-listers and complemented their gowns and their natural beauty.
And, how could we run this story without at least one pair of earrings that dazzled? Here are our picks for this year’s award winning looks:
1- Fred Leighton’s diamond and ruby 19th century pendant drop earrings were a knock out and with Evan Rachel Wood’s floral accented tresses and added a graceful touch to her luxe tuxedo look.
2-Lorraine Schwartz’s platinum necklace of rose cut diamonds and intense pink diamonds, (110 TCW), which seemed to be fitted perfectly to grace Heidi Klum’s neck and to accent her strapless gown. Photo courtesy of Instar and PGI
3- Harry Winston’s platinum ‘Secret Combination’ bracelet with 66.83 TCW of diamonds on Mandy Moore was a showstopper. We thought it was perfectly complimented with the simplicity of delicate diamond and platinum drop earrings.
4- As you probably already know from previous articles, here at Bejeweled, we are brooch enthusiasts and are always quite taken by the way they can be worn in numerous ways. 5-Let’s just say we were head over heels for all of the Harry Winston platinum and diamond jewels on Jessica Biel. She wore five rings which all worked together to make a statement on her hand. The intricate platinum and diamond ‘Secret’ cluster bracelet and the cluster earrings are the jewels which can be seen more easily in the photo and accent her total look, never competing with her own natural beauty. 6- Neil Lane’s Art Deco and Art Deco style bracelets look best when piled on. Such was the case on Sandra Ho who wore a stack of them. Everything about her look was vibrant and lively.
